The surgery went well on Tuesday and the right eye is settling down to the new lens.
The Surgeon recommends I keep away from paddling in between now and getting the second eye done on the 9th November. Risk of infection from some of the not so pure water in the areas we often go too great compared to waiting for healing to be complete. I cannot disagree as these are the only two I have and with Macular problems already present I am being cautious!
This means I will most likely be back on the water early December. I will try then Kee, to include Tuesdays and Sundays into my itinerary in order to catch up on my fitness!
I have contacted Tony and he has told me about his accident. Most unfortunate for him but he seems to be recovering and getting ahead with his re-hab. Thinks it will be December before he is on the water again also.
